Marketing Executive

As the Marketing Executive you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to promote Grant Westfield and its brands. 

You will lead email campaigns and support the Marketing Manager on campaign management, events, PR, print activity, CGI creation, and other activities required to complete marketing projects on time. You will also be required to liaise with the broader marketing team on creating artwork and digital content across social media, the website, video, and influencer outreach to enhance campaign execution further.

The job is full-time office based, with travel opportunities throughout the year at events.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to plan and implement effective and innovative marketing communications and campaigns across our B2C and B2B markets with a focus on owning the email campaign strategy and coordination of output on this channel
  • Own email campaigns on Force24, including our monthly homeowner newsletter, U.K and EU customer emails and the set-up of our customer nurture programme
  • Support Event Management, from initial design concept to completion - liaising with external suppliers throughout. Travel is likely required during larger events in the UK
  • Manage the tactical delivery of marketing output – from traditional and digital content creation, to print production and event activity
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure all campaign touchpoints join up into a compelling customer journey
  • Ensure data is maintained and accurate across the email communication platform
  • Support the Social Media Executive with the creation of new and exciting video content
  • Support on the management of external product software sites and CRM databases such as Virtual Worlds and TruBlue to ensure the catalogues and data are up to date
  • Support the Marketing Manager on PR activity, attending the weekly WIP call and follow-up topics
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of all campaigns. Working on data segmentation and post-campaign analysis. Communicating findings to key stakeholders and present proposals for performance improvements
  • Contribute to Monthly Marketing Board report as directed by Marketing Manager

 

The successful candidate’s profile:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar roll
  • Proven digital marketing experience, particularly email communications and data handling
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Ability to work alone or part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience in an email marketing role
  • Exceptional diligence and creative flair
  • Results-oriented with good digital and analytic skills
  • Strong record of achieving business objectives & campaign/retention targets

 

Skills:

  • Marketing or Business Management Degree or equivalent
  • Strong project management skills
