Traded as a multi-skilled operation working in wood, metal, glass, and plastics nationwide.
Became a limited company; Donald Grant Ltd.
Manufactured components for Spitfires in WWII.
Started to manufacture products for building interiors.
Partnered with Formica, jointly developing market leading products for decades to come.
Became DuPont's first Corian fabricating partner in the UK.
Name changed to Grant Westfield Ltd. to reflect the location at Westfield, Edinburgh.
Cubewall system revolutionised interior fit-out.
Moved into a purpose built factory & HQ at Westfield Avenue, Edinburgh.
Multipanel started from scratch to grow to become a household name and UK market leading shower panel, with walls, floors, ceilings and vanities added.
The only fully Document M compliant cubicle system was launched.
